What is Boltblue Club?

Boltblue Club is a subscription membership that is easy to join, and there's no minimum subscription period, so you can stop at anytime.

Once you've joined Boltblue Club, you can use your club account to download content, send text messages online, but please make sure you check your handset is compatible with our services first. To check handset compatibility click here.

Also, when you find downloads at Boltblue you can send them as a gift as easily as sending to you own phone. Just login and follow the instructions on the payment page.

How can I order the Boltblue Club and how will I be billed?

Joining Boltblue Club is easy and only takes seconds.

To order the Boltblue Club on the website, please select a product first. You will then be prompted to enter your phone number and thereafter to text a keyword to our shortcode. The charge for the Boltblue Club will be deducted either from your prepaid balance or charged to your monthly bill, depending on your contract with your network operator.

It is also possible to sign up for a club before selecting the product, simply follow the instructions on the webpage. After joining you can download any product by selecting the send to my phone option.

I have joined Boltblue Club but my account has not been credited?

Depending on your mobile, the charge for the Boltblue Club will be deducted from your prepaid credit or charged on your monthly bill if you have a contract. Payment takes place via SMS, which you will receive after you join. Please check that your mobile has credit and that you have received our messages.

How do I know how much credit I have remaining on my club account balance?

If you are logged into your Boltblue account online, your club balance will show in the 'Your Account' area. You can also view your latest account statement by clicking 'my details', followed by 'Club'. This area shows your membership activity since joining.

It's also very easy to check your balance when you're on the move. Just text BAL to 85233 or 81194 and we will send you a text message containing your up to date club balance.

How do I unsubscribe from Boltblue club?

You can cancel your club at anytime. You will receive a free SMS message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.

  1. Via the website
    1. Enter your username and password and click on "Login".
    2. Click on "Your account" and "Club".
    3. You will see an overview of your account.
    4. Click on "deactivate".

Remember, if you unsubscribe from the club you may lose any remaining balance on your account.

Is there a notice period or a minimum membership term?

You can cancel a club at any time. Cancellation takes effect immediately. Please note that the service may appear again on your monthly statement, as the network operators' bookings are back-dated.

Can I order individual content or do I have to order a club?

We currently do not sell individual content. You need to order an available Boltblue service.

Can I carry forward any left over amount of my Club allowance?

Yes, you can carry forward any left over amount you can have in your account. The maximum balance you may have is 4 x the Club subscription fee.

Detailed information about all Boltblue clubs

The weekly payment is conveniently taken from your phone bill automatically and added to your Boltblue account. You then use this account to order the items of content that you want. We have a huge selection to choose from and all items can be ordered via the Club.

Your phone will need to connect to the internet (via WAP, GPRS, UMTS) in order to download your chosen content. Downloads will be charged at your standard operator rate. You can check that with your network operator. Downloading large files could be quite expensive so check with your mobile operator to avoid any unpleasant phone bills.

In October 2008 we introduced a £9 service billed every five days. Customers who have joined the £4.50 club will not be affected by this. If you are not sure which club membership you have please login to the website
